The whole of Montenegro is pretty mountainous. The beaches and coastal towns hug the dramatic coastline, and then there is the steep climb north, away from the sea into the centre of Montenegro. There are three national parks, the most famous being Durmitor Montenegro, where you’ll find the Tara Canyon. Someone told me it was Europe’s deepest river canyon. It is spectacular, and you must try the white water rafting if you’re feeling particularly brave!

Sveti Stefan Montenegro
Sveti Stefan is one of our favourite places on the Budva Riviera! It is famous for the island, connected to the mainland by a walkway. Once a fishing village, the island was converted in 1960 to the old town, with its tower, narrow streets, shops and small churches. The island is now a 5-star hotel owned by the Aman Group. The terracotta roofs of the individual hotel suites and the church make a unique backdrop to the Adriatic Sea, especially spectacular when you watch the sun setting.
Mosaic Destinations aims to bring you 1st class accommodation during your stay in Montenegro. If you are looking to stay in Sveti Stefan we have 2 2 apartments.

Porto Montenegro
An amazing place, definitely one of the best tourist investments on the Montenegrin coast in the last 25 years. The original deepwater port was used by the Yugoslav Navy and has no been transformed into a superyacht, luxury destination, for those with a few million in their pocket to spend! We were actually pleasantly surprised how tastefully Porto Montenegro has been developed. I am sure, in years to come, it will gather pace and develop a bit more soul. It has already become one of the most prestigious marinas on the Adriatic Sea.
