An amazing place, definitely one of the best tourist investments on the Montenegrin coast in the last 25 years. The original deepwater port was used by the Yugoslav Navy and has no been transformed into a superyacht, luxury destination, for those with a few million in their pocket to spend! We were actually pleasantly surprised how tastefully Porto Montenegro has been developed. I am sure, in years to come, it will gather pace and develop a bit more soul. It has already become one of the most prestigious marinas on the Adriatic Sea.

Porto Montenegro sits within the town of Tivat, located in the central part of the Boka Kotorska bay.

Although it is the youngest town in the Boka region, Tivat has a lot of interesting and attractive destinations. Renaissance Summer House Buca in the centre of city, Ostrvo Cvijeca (flowers’ island) with sacred monuments, Gornja Lastva, the old nucleus at an altitude of 300 m, the magnificent beach at Plavi Horizonti and the island Sv. Nikola is tourist destinations that should be visited in Tivat. In the city itself, there is the natural marina Kaliman. Tivat is also the only place at the littoral with an airport. There is also a choice of cultural events, such as Bocarska Olympiad and Ljetnje Feste.
