Our Favourite Day at Queen’s Beach, Montenegro

Within an hour’s drive from our Adriatic sea-view home is our absolute favourite beach. And we mean world favourite, not just Montenegro favourite!

Queen’s Beach: A Hidden Royal Gem

Queen’s Beach is named after Marija, the Queen Consort of Yugoslavia, who had a summer palace here back in the 1920s. The little cove is wrapped in cypress, olive, and pine trees, and the water is as crystal clear as you’d expect from the Adriatic. Honestly, it’s picture-postcard perfect — one of those places that makes you just stop and take it all in.

Lunch in Pržno Village

After a morning soaking up the sun, we took a ten-minute walk to Pržno, a small but lively fishing village. We found a little restaurant and enjoyed a fresh seafood lunch paired with a surprisingly good glass of their homemade white wine. It felt completely authentic — no tourist traps, just real local flavour.

Sundowners Back at Our Villa

Later, we headed home to our stylishly renovated villa, which has uninterrupted views of the Adriatic. With its own pool, terraces from every bedroom, and space for eight guests, it’s the perfect spot to relax after a day like this. The furnishings are carefully chosen, there are 3 bathrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped living, dining, and kitchen area — everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Days like this make us fall in love with Montenegro all over again. If you’re after peace, tranquility, and a touch of style, this is exactly the kind of getaway we dream about.
